On Saturday we went to the Nihonbashi BonOdori Matsuri in front of Honbu Dojo.
We ate a hotdog and some shaved ice, played some games and won some toys, then ate yakiniku at Batten.
Ton put away a plate of raw liver and some bibimbap, then ran around in the street whilst Batten's mom took care of Mookun and P and I ate plates of grilled meats.

Ton has been getting up early this past few days. We usually have to drag her out of bed all grumpy and pissy at 7, but this week she's been getting up around 6am on her own. Guess she is excited to go to summer school or something.
Since Mookun is usually up already, we migrate to the living room and do breakfast.
Recently Mookun has become quite talkative. Ok he's not actually talking, but he's making Amusing Baby Noises and it's not crying, so we'll call it talking and leave it at that.

On the way to the park, she spotted this construction crew digging up the street. And stood there in the hot sun watching the power shovel dig dirt and put it into the truck. For 20 minutes.

Couldn't go to the usual park because of the festival, so we headed up the street to Arisugawa, aka "icecream park", because it's just up the street from the Baskin Robbins, home of Mint Chip!
Was pretty empty as it's still summer vacation, so she got to ride on everything once before she couldn't take it any more and we had to go get icecream.
