Today I was asked to lead zazen and the talk afterwards. There were only three of us, and when I sat down and rang the bell to start I realized I had no way to tell the time. So I ran out of the zendo and grabbed by cell. Oops.
Anyway the 30 minutes flew by, mainly because I was stressing about the upcoming talk.
That ended up being no problem. We read part of Omori Sogen's "An Introduction to Zen Training" and had a lovely chat. Hope it wasn' too terrible for anyone!
